The reface CS is a virtual analog synthesizer with simple operation and five unique oscillators that allow you to enjoy a variety of tone changes.

The AN Sound Source (Analog Physical Modeling Sound Source) is modeled after analog synthesizers. By selecting from five preset types of multisaw, pulse, oscillator sync, ring modulation, and frequency modulation, the unique oscillator can easily reproduce the tone changes characteristic of analog synthesizers. In addition, LFO, AEG, FEG, and effectors are also included, enabling a variety of sound creation with simple operation.
The "HQ Mini" compact keyboard was newly developed with the aim of creating a "keyboard that you will never get tired of playing.
The "HQ Mini" compact keyboard was developed to maximize the high-grade sound source of the "reface" series. The "HQ Mini" inherits the feel of the FSX keyboard used on the flagship "MOTIF XF Series" synthesizers, and is capable of expressing the detailed intensity of sound with the touch of a finger. The keyboard can also be played from the base of the keyboard, providing excellent playability in spite of its compact size.
High-grade quality of the exterior, knobs, sliders, etc.
The four models in the "reface" series were newly designed based on the motif of each original design in line with the "high-grade compact" concept. We created numerous prototypes and conducted interviews at evaluation meetings in order to brush up the "texture" of the body surface finish, the feel when turning knobs, the weight of the slider, and other aspects related to "texture" from the exterior to the controls and operating feel, and reflected the opinions we obtained there. The result is a compact, yet strong presence and texture.
Built-in speakers and battery operation enable "anywhere, anytime" use.
All four models in the "reface" series have built-in 2W x 2 speakers, so you can enjoy playing without headphones or monitor speakers. By embedding a bass reflex in the space to the left and right of the keyboard, a rich bass sound is realized despite the compact size. The reface is also battery-powered, so you can enjoy playing anywhere.
Music production by connecting reface to an iPad
Cubasis LE is Steinberg's music creation app for the iPad. This app can be used free of charge, but when used only with the iPad, it is a demo version and only simple operations such as playback can be performed. Cubasis LE v 1.9.8 released on 2/16 supports the reface series.
