The E-Stopp push-button emergency brake is the perfect addition to your resto-mod, hot rod, classic car or truck project. Its robust design, powerful performance and simple operation make it the best emergency brake replacement on the market; just ask the National Street Rod Association who chose it as their New Safety Product of the Year or any of our thousands of satisfied customers. Whether it's built at a shop or in the comfort of your own garage, adding an E-Stopp will bring an extra touch of class and safety to your ride.

WORKS EVERY TIME.
The E-Stopp is microcomputer controlled to carefully regulate the amount of pull required to safely engage the brakes on your vehicle. A simple button press will evenly apply the brakes with up to 600 pounds of pressure. Even if power is lost, the E-Stopp will continue to keep the vehicle secure until power is applied and the button is pressed again. The E-Stopp motor housing is IP67 rated, providing protection from contact with harmful dust and debris and immersion in water up to 3 feet deep for up to 30 minutes. You can rest assured that the E-Stopp will continue to do its job even when exposed to the harsh conditions on the underside of your vehicle.

FREES UP SPACE.
The E-Stopp is easy to install and can be mounted virtually anywhere from the chassis to the trunk. Because it is operated by a simple button, installing an E-Stopp means no more pedals or levers taking up space in your cab so you can keep everything in your ride simple, clean and efficient.

KEEPS YOUR VEHICLE SAFE & SECURE.
The E-Stopp can be used as a theft deterrent by simply hiding the button under the dash or in the glove compartment, or by using our key-lock kit. What's better than having peace-of-mind built right into a functional part of your vehicle?

FAQ:

  1. What kind of brakes will the E-Stopp work with? Any brakes that accept a standard emergency brake cable.
  2. Will the E-Stopp connect to my existing emergency brake cables? Yes, it actually makes for an easier install.
  3. Can it be attached to both brakes? Yes, most emergency brake cables run to both brakes. If yours do not, you can buy a simple adapter to combine cables. (PART # 19384)
  4. Where should I mount the motor enclosure? With properly protected cables you can mount it anywhere you have room; on the chassis, under the floorboard or even inside the cab or trunk. Avoid high temperatures.
  5. Is the E-Stopp weatherproof? The motor enclosure is double-layered weatherproof (IP67 rated). The control box is not and should be mounted in the cab or another protected area.
  6. How many inches of travel does the E-Stopp have? About 2 inches. Most systems only need about 1. The motor stops itself once it reaches the appropriate level of resistance.
  7. Will the E-Stopp drain my battery? No. Once engaged the unit locks and draws only a tiny amount of current from the battery. It would take many years for the battery to run dry.
  8. What happens if my battery dies for other reasons while the brake is engaged? The brake remains engaged until it receives power again.
  9. How does the ignition safety device work? The E-Stopp can be wired to your vehicle's ignition switch. Doing so prevents the E-Stopp from being accidentally engaged while driving.
  10. Is the E-Stopp NSRA safety certified? Yes, though it must be hooked up to both brakes to comply.
