This is a wonderfully crafted Chestnut Spiral Coppice Knob walking stick featuring a beautiful helical carving down the shaft. This rustic walking stick is standard length and features a shaft that has had its bark removed, then given a lacquered finish. The tactile knob handle has been polished to a smooth finish. The stick is then completed with a steel ferrule at the base. Chestnut (Castanaea dentata) is a fast-growing hardwood. It has a similar strength to oak, while being lightweight, making it the perfect choice for stick craft. These coppice knob sticks are harvested from sustainable forests.
