Fushigi Yūgi
This is an Official Original one-of-a-kind Hand Drawn Production Layout Sketch Set used in the making of the anime Fushigi Yûgi: The Mysterious Play, which aired in Japan from April 6, 1995 – March 28, 1996. Produced by the Japanese Animation Studio Pierrot, directed by Hajime Kamegaki and written by Yoshio Urasawa. The anime was adapted by the manga written by Yuu Watase.
From Episode 24: Resolution (炎の決意, Honō no Ketsui). Miaka Yuki (夕城 美朱 Yūki Miaka) is the main character of Fushigi Yuugi and she is the Priestess of Suzaku. In this scene, Miaka is wearing her Priestess of Suzaku outfit.
The Studio Pierrot Layout Cel Sketch measures approximately 9.5 inches by 10.5 inches.
