The new generation REVSTAR
The REVSTAR, introduced in 2015, was the first new series of Yamaha electric guitars in over a decade and garnered a great deal of attention. 2022 sees the evolution of the REVSTAR series to a new stage, incorporating newly developed technologies.

THE NEW STANDARD
In addition to the 5-position selector and focus switch, two types of pickups are available. The new standard model of Revstar with a wide range of sounds.
Chamber processing based on "Acoustic Design
Chamber processing based on Yamaha's acoustic analysis process "Acoustic Design" has been applied to achieve rich sound and a lighter body. In addition, carbon material is inserted into the neck to improve rigidity and tone.
5-position selector
Positions 2 and 4 on the selector give a halftone-like sound of a regular 3-single coil guitar without any reduction in volume.
Focus Switch
The push-pull on the tone knob is Yamaha's original "focus switch. It has the effect of increasing the number of pickup windings, and allows for aggressive tone changes with an emphasis on the mid-low range.
Pickups
The RSS02T is equipped with a P-90 type single coil pickup, a Yamaha original pickup with an Alnico V magnet for a powerful tone.
Revstar Standard with original P-90 type pickups and custom racing tailpiece for tension feeling.
