All Items are TESTED and work 100%

Attached on the ribbon drive cable (on the 34pin connector close to the amstrad card edge connector) are two small switches.
With these you can:

- Choose side, and so use BOTH SIDES OF THE DISK! (the right switch as shown on the picture)
- Convert the normally externall 3.5" drive 'B' to 'A'. This is ESPECIALLY useful, as MANY games REQUIRE DISK TO BE IN DRIVE 'A' in order to run.  NO NEED TO WRITE ALL THE TIME '|B' TO ACCESS YOUR 3.5" DISKS. Also useful if your internal 3" old drive is not working and so YOU CAN USE THE 3.5" EXTERNAL AS "Internal"!

You can also use USIfAC II board (contact to give you details)
To transfer image disks to floppy disks (either 3" or 3.5")
or
The freeware utility CPCDISKXP with a 3.5" usb floppy drive

*Usage notes:

- Be very careful with the 4pin power connector: Although difficult to do, if you try to squeeze and plug the 4pin power to the drive reversed, you will probably destroy it!
- If you have problems using an HXC drive emulator, try to disconnect the internal floppy drive and set the ribbon's cable Drive switch,to "Drive B".
- If you plug in the cable and the drive does not function properly, try to reverse the 34pin connector attached to the drive. No need to worry if that happens, no damage is caused by that.
- In order to use the most common today, High Density (1.44Mb) 3.5" disks, with your amstrad, you must cover with little duct tape the hole on the left bottom corner of the disks.
