In addition to being easy to carry, which is the greatest advantage of the headless style, this bass is also easy to play. Above all, it is the ingenuity of the bass sound. The Ibanez Bass Workshop has taken a fresh look at headless basses, which have often been described as "unplayable" or "difficult to use," and created a completely new headless bass, the EHB. The EHB is not an imitation of other headless models, nor is it simply a headless version of an existing design or shape.
The EHB's body design is ergonomically designed to fit the player in perfect balance, whether standing or seated.
The horns are shaped to balance the body and neck for easy holding when playing standing, and the body curve on the treble string side was designed with particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated.
The surface of the body has been contoured to create a sloping surface where the elbow meets the body. The body edges that come into contact with the body are all smooth and rounded.
The back of the body is boldly cut to become thinner toward the bass strings. This is designed to enhance the fit when playing while seated and to allow for the angle of the eye when looking at the fingerboard inlays.
In addition, the back of the horn on the treble string side is cut in a scooped shape to facilitate access to the high frets.
Chambering for a more sensuous feel of the body's sound
The player will be more aware of the sound he or she is making by experiencing the vibrations inside the body as they are in a hollow body. This also leads to a slight weight reduction.
Vari Mid 3 Band EQ w/EQ bypass switch
As the abbreviation of "Variable frequency control for Mid EQ" indicates, this EQ provides flexible mid control. Normally, a 3-band EQ would be divided into three bands (HIGH/MID/LOW), and the developer would arbitrarily set the focus of the specified frequency range and control the boost or cut. The Vari Mid allows the user to arbitrarily set the focus of the midrange. For example, the mid can be set to 100Hz, which is roughly in the bass range, and boosted to compensate for the lack of bass.
Nordstrand Big Split custom pickups
This is a split pickup with a sweet tone and rich bottom end. It is suitable for bass lines and funky slap sounds.

Note: The back of the attached fingerlamp is not included in the kit.
Double-sided tape is preattached to the back of the finger lamps, and the finger lamps are attached to the body with double-sided tape. When removing the attached finger lamps, the paint on the body surface may be damaged. Please be careful when removing the finger lamps.
Adhesion and removal of the finger lamps are the responsibility of the customer.
