An incredibly rare original 1970s Porsche keyring, bought around 1975 from the Beaulieu motor museum, with a highly unusual vinyl plastic fob with Beaulieu printed on it- usually the fobs are black leather! Despite the fact this would have been aimed more at the car enthusiast and tourist market, the quality is superb and such items wouldn't have been cheap even back then, but this is a jewellery grade enamellled porsche crest which is the same as would have been available for enthusiasts to buy in motor factors etc. Most likely made in the Birmingham, the 'bobbling' on the reverse of the crest is typical of the period and most likely Manhattan Windsor or Fattorini as they usually had this style on the reverse. I have compared it to my reference collection and there are similarities particularly with my Fattorini and MW examples, so it is a fair guess they made it.

A beautiful item, never seen another like it. The irony is, the future value of these would have never been considered at the time and now so few are left let alone in a beautiful condition like this one, they are extremely valuable. Grab a piece of nostalgia whilst you can- prices have rocketed in the past 2-3 years! This is definately one to display rather than use.

Condition: Very good condition with only the lightest of wear all over. You will struggle to find better, especially with the very vulnerable and fragile vinyl fob.
