Bringing an Edgy Presence to the Stage
The AX-Edge is a keyboardist's stage presence, and the AX-Edge's looks will make your stage performances even more memorable. The AX-Edge is available in two colors: white and black. The AX-Edge is available in white or black, and its appearance can be further accentuated with interchangeable "edge blades. One spare "edge blade" is included (the white model comes with a gold blade and the black model comes with a silver blade), so you can design your own edge blade.
Convincing sound that sparkles in solo playing
The AX-Edge features a new sound for stage keyboardists. The "EDGE LEAD" category features a number of distinctive sounds. The new EDGE LEAD category features a number of unique sounds that are created using the latest technology, and are sure to stand out amongst the powerful band sounds. The front panel is equipped with a "Favourite" button. The "Tone Remain" function allows you to switch from one sound to another without fear of sound loss. By registering sounds according to your set list, you can smoothly switch between sounds for solo playing and ensemble playing. The full-size 49 keys and 4-part sound source configuration allow you to freely layer and split sounds. A variety of effects and a master compressor & EQ produce the best sound in a variety of environments.
Easy operation and sophisticated interface for keytar
The AX-Edge was designed with ideas and feedback from many keyboardists. The right hand side features a full-sized 49-key keyboard with aftertouch. The left hand side neck features a variety of controllers to express the keyboardist's ideas in sound. A pressure-sensitive ribbon controller, modulation bar, assignable knob, and seven assignable buttons ensure that the performer's inspiration is conveyed.
Expand Your Performance Range
The AX-Edge is equipped with two displays. The LEDs are designed for visibility during performance and display bank and program numbers, so you know exactly what you're doing. An arpeggiator and audio file playback function are also provided for use in various situations on stage. In addition, a microphone input and vocoder function allow for unique performances that incorporate vocals.
Flexibility that goes beyond performance
For keyboardists who want to take the stage with confidence, the AX-Edge offers a wide range of safe and convenient features, including MIDI IN/OUT jacks that allow the AX-Edge to be used as a master keyboard for software synthesizers or external MIDI instruments. Edge can be used as a master keyboard for software synthesizers or external MIDI sound sources. A USB memory stick can be connected to the USB port to back up the AX-Edge's settings in case of emergency.
