Military German watch from the 1940s in a solid steel case, official supply of the Wehrmacht, watches marked D.H. (Deutsches Heer - ground forces).

The watch brand "Revue" (currently called Revue Thommen) was founded by Gedeon Thommen in 1859 and mainly produced simple pocket watches for a wide range of purposes. The company was a full-cycle production, manufacturing and improving its own mechanisms. Of the star models of the company, one can note a caliber with a full digital disk indication of hours and minutes. Today, Revue Thommen produces high quality mechanical and quartz watches, confidently occupying a place among the classic Swiss manufacturers. The original case is made of uncoated stainless steel. Screw-down case back, circular grain inside, ACIER INOXYDABLE (solid steel). The outside of the lid is stamped D.H. (Deutsches Heer, Wehrmacht order) and number. Preservation is excellent, and looks exceptional on the hand.

    – height on the ears 39 mm.

Black dial with distinctive military lettering, signed "REVUE-SPORT". Original hands, small second. Near perfect condition considering their age.
Swiss made movement, hand-wound, 15 jewels. Anti-shock device of the balance axis of the "Incabloc" type. Power reserve of about 40 hours. The accuracy is very good for a 70 year old device.
The mechanism is serviced, lubricated, tested, the movement is accurate and reliable. Can be worn on hand.
