Epiphone is proud to introduce the new "Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins," the third signature model from the talented Matt Heafy of TRIVIUM!
One of its greatest features is the inclusion of two custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups, each offering three different tonal options.
The neck position Alnico pickup offers three variations: a modern, high-output Alnico humbucker sound with active PU tone, a crisp, clean, and fluid front humbucker sound, and a high-fidelity single-coil sound that is pleasant to the ear. The ceramic pickup in the bridge position provides a crisp, clean and flowing front humbucker sound. The ceramic pickup in the bridge position offers three variations: a modern, high-output ceramic humbucker sound with active PU tone, a high-output passive ceramic humbucker sound, and a high-gain single-coil sound with a sharp, cutting edge. The three variations are provided. Push-pull volume and tone pots put these great sounding options at your fingertips.
The mahogany body with maple top board has a modern weight-relief finish, which provides comfortable playability even over long playing sessions. The mahogany neck features a SpeedTaper D-profile for playability and a contoured heel for excellent high position access. Gold hardware, including locking Grover Rotomatic tuners and tulip buttons, and the classic Les Paul Custom design make this model stand out on stage. Two colors are available: Ebony with a gloss finish and Bone White. A custom hard-shell case is included.
