This autograph was obtained in person by one of the pioneering autograph hounds, Steve Kostrubanic. This Cleveland-area native wandered outside the theaters and sports venues of Cleveland searching for celebrities from the late 1940s right up to the early 2000s. His later job as Senator Jacob Javitz personal driver gave him even greater access to the rich and famous. A Golden Gloves Boxing Champion, he is a member of the Ohio State Boxing Hall of Fame.

Fans of The Simpsons remember him as the voice of ‘Bart Starr.’ No stranger to talk shows, Firestone’s appearances include Late Night with David Letterman, Later with Bob Costas, Larry King Live and The Tonight Show.
Firestone is also an accomplished musical vocalist. He recently released his first CD, Another Voice, produced and backed by Grammy Award-winning fusion band, Hiroshima.
