This isn’t a reproduction, the shell was professionally painted in Mid-night Blue by Helmet Hut the best in the business at vintage restoration!
They were adamant about only painting the
shell to keep the integrity of this helmet
No Walter Payton did not use this helmet but it is set up like
what he would have used during the his early playing days for the Chicago Bears
the inside is a cherry you will never find another one like this helmet!
Original padded suspension - marked- F-2002. Full size helmet- size 7 1/8 - 7 1/4 made in the USA ! Original jaw pads. Red Dot Schutt OPO mask, Low chinstrap, The padding is mint shape. Look at the Wilson logo it was stenciled in beautiful! This helmet is a beautiful piece of football history!!
