The CF5U is designed to withstand the harshest environment. Made of foam filled rigid aluminium with the radiating elements sealed within an epoxy resin filled body. The N type connector is covered with a waterproof shroud to seal any cables the antenna connects to. The antenna offers an exceptionally wide bandwidth/VWSR characteristic and has a very clear signal due to the quarter wave short that is incorporated in the design.
