You are about to buy a Daphnia Magna Eggs (Water Flea), the great live food for aquarium fish (Betta, Guppy, Killifish, and other). It’s easy to hatching and growing. I highly recommend it for the fish you love.

Hatching Instruction

1. Prepare 1 liter of freshwater that non-chlorine. I recommend to use distilled water or reverse osmosis water for the best result. However, you can use freshwater from your aquarium as well. Please make sure the ammonia content need to less than 1.5 mg/L and the pH range 6.2-8.9 (pH 7.8 is the best). The temperature for hatching between 60 °F and 90 °F.

2. Put a little of the Daphnia eggs into the prepared container (Dry eggs will float on the surface of the water). Slowly stir until mixed well (until the eggs are wet well).

3. Stand under sunlight for a day. The first hatch is then released into the water in 6-10 hours (under typical conditions, these eggs hatch after 2-3 days). If out of 5 days some of eggs still not hatch, please make the eggs dry and start the hatching process again. Sunlight helps increase the hatching rate, let the eggs receive sunlight or brightness lamp about 14-16 hours per day is the best.

4. After you saw the Daphnia fry movement, Can ladle for feed your fish. After the Daphnia hatch pass through further 4–6 instars over 5–10 days (longer in poor conditions) before reaching an age where they are able to reproduce.

5. You can feed the Daphnia with live Chlorella, Yeast, or Bacteria 1-2 times per day. Be carefully overfeeding, its increase ammonia content and kill Daphnia.

**Maybe, it’s slowly growth in cold weather.**
