Both units power on. One unit needs a new disc drive or laser, everything is fine to my knowledge (could be something more but I believe just a disc drive or new laser).

One unit is "special" but I honestly have no clue if it works properly. It does not read discs, the ring is orange (but comments online say that's because it's "special"). The second special unit also might be in safety mode.

No wires or games, consoles only.

Cosmetically: Both units have scratches, marks,etc.  I'd rate them around a 6, maybe 7/10.
