~ Earls Court, London, 23rd/27th October 1994 ~ Amazing 70-Photo Collection!
In October 1994 Pink Floyd played their final dates as a band in a series of concerts at London's Earl's Court Arena, having embarked on their world tour at Miami Gardens, USA, in March earlier that same year. These unique photos were taken over 2 nights, the 23rd & 27th October, at the Earl's Court venue.
The content of this 70-photo collection consists in the main of excellent full-stage and semi full-stage type views, with the band performing under various lighting effects, lasers etc. (Dedicated aficionados will doubtless be able to detect what was being played in each photo, according to the featured lighting and backdrop!) There are also closer-up views which feature David Gilmour principally (looking very pleased, it has to be said, perhaps because they were nearing the end of a grueling 8-month tour!) All in all, a fascinating pictorial record for the nostalgic aficionado. Unique images of Pink Floyd's FINAL MONTH as a band, at least till their 18-minute reunion with Roger Waters at Live8 in 2005. (And yes, we have amazing photos of that too! [**see link below!] )
