The V6MRHDX's body is alder, and it features a hard maple, bolt-on neck with a 71/⁄2” radius rosewood fingerboard and 21 frets.

All the hardware is genuine Wilkinson, including the three vintage-voiced single coil pickups with aged ivory covers and Thomas's beloved Bukka switch, which is operated by a push/push pot on the back tone control and provides a hum-cancelling, subtly tone-altering extra dummy coil when needed.

And it's all wrapped up in the beautiful Vintage Icon package, with the guitar's body and parts all meticulously aged to simulate years of onstage use. Topped off with stunning original artwork, this is a must-have guitar.

PRESS RELEASE: Legendary axe-slinger Thomas Blug has once again joined forces with Vintage guitars to produce an epic new signature model influenced by the man many people think of as the greatest guitarist of all time.

The Vintage Summer Of Love V6MRHDX is a nod to an iconic guitar played by the inimitable Jimi Hendrix. The newest model in the celebrated Vintage ICON range of distressed, or reliced, instruments, the Summer Of Love's body and parts have all been meticulously aged to simulate years of onstage use.

The guitar features the same boutique specs as Thomas's treasured '61 and his original Vintage signature, the V6MRTBG – the only differences being the reverse headstock and the cooler-than-cool, hand-applied graphics created by German artist Daniel Hahn.

The Summer Of Love was unveiled at a recent show, Blug Plays Hendrix, where Thomas and his band rocked through 10 Hendrix covers in front of a wild crowd. Recorded as a live CD and DVD, the show was the ideal debut for the V6MRDX, and the guitar is now a staple of Thomas's incendiary live performances.
Thomas said: “The Summer Of Love is the first "flower power guitar" that feels like home. It's a great looking guitar, with all that spirit and performance – and my tone. I get inspired just by looking at it!”

Shipping Information

For small parcels (up to around 2Kg in weight) we use Royal Mail 24 or 48 which are barcoded and traceable. For larger packages we use a courier service such as DPD. If you buy several items from us we calculate the postage and packing cost by taking the highest delivery cost first (usually the heaviest/biggest item) and then adding the cost per additional item for all the smaller items.

Unless you order a large quantity of heavy/bulky items (exceeding 20Kg) the maximum delivery charge is normally &10.00. All the delivery prices listed in Ebay for courier service are for UK mainland ONLY and does NOT include the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or the Channel Islands.

We endeavour to despatch goods within 1 day of receiving payment in full.

We only ship on Weekdays unless it is urgent and by prior arrangement (please contact us if you require something urgently).

Our delivery costs reflect the cost of packaging materials, postage costs and transport to the Post Office. We believe our delivery charges are reasonable, if you are not happy with our delivery charges please do not make a purchase.

All purchases may be collected in person at no charge from our Margate Warehouse during normal office hours.

Returns Policy

Should you need to return your item for a refund or replacement you must return it within 14 days in an unused condition with all original packaging for a replacement or refund of the original purchase price.

Due to the Increase in Scams We now log all security numbers and security mark all high-value items. Anyone found scamming (returning items bought from other sellers) will be reported to the Police and Ebay. This will not affect genuine buyers in any way.

Items faulty within 14 days will be treated as DOA (dead on arrival) and we will replace faulty goods for a brand new replacement, all delivery costs incurred in putting right a DOA item will be covered by Worldwide Music.

After 14 days the procedure is for goods to be returned to the manufacturer for repair under the terms of warranty, who in some instances may choose to replace the item rather than repair it, this is at the discretion of the manufacturer.

You must ship the goods back to us (or direct to the manufacturer to save time) at your own expense and we will then ensure the goods are repaired or replaced and sent back to you.
