Antique late 1800's Victorian-era Alvin .999 Fine Silver Grapevine 11" Crystal Decanter & 4 Shot Glass Set
This is a stunning and rare set. The pure silver overlay is extremely thick and will clean up to a brilliant shine if polished.
Condition is intentionally left untouched for the choice of the buyer on whether to polish or not.
The decanter has the original faceted crystal stopper, in excellent condition. Stopper is hand-etched on the bottom with company marks and numbers.
All the pieces are stamped "999 FINE" in the silver next to the Alvin-Beiderhase Co. mark and multiple company ID numbers, and all pieces are also hand-etched on the bottom with more company numbers.
Decanter measures: 11" tall with stopper, and 5.5" at the widest point.
The shot glasses each measure: 2" tall x 1.75" at the widest point.
