This is the very same radio that was owned by Mark Stein and photographed in his book. It must have been heart breaking for Mark to sell his collection at the Richard Estee's radio auction when he went through his divore. I knew this radio was rare, therefore I made sure I would not be out bid at the auction, so the next time you think my radios are more then average, it is because I paid for them.

If you are a Climax collector and you have the tear drop tabletop with the tuning eye you will realize that this is just as rare and highly sought after as the others.

 Radio condition is as follows:

1) Chassis is unrestored

2) Original knobs

3) Original grill cloth

4) Original finish

5) The radio measures: 17" high x 16 3/4" wide x 9" deep

6) No veneer issues

7) Slight scratch on side

8) Slight defect or dent on top
