Beautiful vintage All Virgin Wool throw, motor robe, car horse robe. 

These were initially designed to be used to keep warm in a car, back before they put heat in vehicles. 

This blanket is by William Ayres and Sons of Philadelphia.

It is done in a red plaid with blue green yellow & white accent colors. It measures 52 inches by 54 inches. Not any odors, no moth bites, holes or stains, which is amazing for a blanket this age. Would be wonderful to use these throws on the cooler nights while we are sitting on the deck or just watching TV. This would be perfect as it's slightly larger than your typical throw. 

It's in beautiful condition and comes from a smoke free home.
