This copy of Go, Flight!: The Unsung Heroes of Mission Control, 1965-1992 is signed and personalized by one of the authors, Milt Heflin.

James Milton Heflin Jr was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma and was also raised in Edmond, Oklahoma.  Heflin began working at NASA's Manned Spacecraft Center, now known as the Johnson Space Center, in 1966.  Heflin was on the prime recover ships for Apollo 8, 10, 16, and 17, as well as the 3 Skylab missions.  He was flight director, overseeing 20 Space Shuttle flights.  Heflin has been inducted into the Aviation Week & Space Technology Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Space Hall of Fame.

Condition Note: There is about a 3" x 3" square that appears to have been removed from the inside front cover (see last photo).  Minor wear to the dust jacket.
