Eileen A Soper Vintage classroom poster vintage 12 The very queer chicks

These prints were produced in 1951 and sent to schools. The print would be pinned to a wall of the classroom and the teacher would read the associated story to the children.

The pin marks are visible in the corner of the print and show it was used as a classroom display piece.
There are 60 prints in total and this one is numbered 12

The illustrator Eileen Alice Soper worked with Enid Blyton for many years, and illustrated the Famous Five series as well as numerous other books.

The print is clearly signed in the bottom right hand corner.

Very good condition

Measurements are 53cm x 43cm which is the whole paper including border (border is about 2cm wide)

Eileen was born in March 1905 and died in 1990. She exhibited at the Royal Academy in London in 1921.
