- Here is a rare and adorable BEAR ALIGNMENT advertising figure – circa Mid-Century or maybe 1940s – Very Strong Cubism/Deco influence top to bottom. The 3 ½” figure is perfect -  the gold paint is really 100% and the red on his tongue is vivid. I am not sure what this is made of – heavier than pottery, not metal, maybe wood  -  I can’t tell. The bear sits on a base that reads BEAR SAFETY SERVICE  -  very cool item, out of an old estate Interestingly, I am 77 and when I was a little boy 70 years ago there was an auto repair garage up the street doing alignment among other work and they had several large advertising-promo Bears on the premises, signs etc – I remember them well   – buyer pays 7.95 safe bubble shipping and tracking in USA
