This listing is for one stainless steel cremation pendant on a large 1" stainless steel key ring. If you would like the smaller .5" ring instead, leave a note with payment. The pendant has an empty chamber that is designed to hold the ashes of your beloved pet upon his or her passing. This listing is for ONLY ONE PENDANT AND ONE KEY RING. We have many other dog and cat-themed cremation pendants available in our store if you would like to check them out, too, to make sure you are selecting your favorite.
We do also sell all of our cremation pendants by themselves, as necklaces on attractive, sturdy stainless steel chains, or on smaller .5" key rings (as seen in the photos). You can view these in our eBay store, or contact us for assistance. Again, this listing here is for the pendant urn with the larger key ring. The photos are just to show you different angles of the pendant, a comparison between the two sizes of keychains available, and to give you a better feel for the size of the urn itself.
This is one of our most beautiful cremation pendants. It measures about 34mm or one and 5/16 inch tall an the width is about 8mm (about 5/16 inch). It is quite delicate looking and is mostly solid, so it has some weight to it. The hole on this style goes directly through the sides of the top of the pendant. The hole is only about 3mm, so please keep in mind that if you are buying the pendant by itself (without the chain), then whatever you put through the hole will need to be smaller, so you may want to go ahead and order it with the chain if you are unsure your own chain, etc. will fit (just look in our section called "Cremation Pendant Necklaces"). The back is flat and can be engraved, although we do not offer this service ourselves. Most local jewelry stores offer this service for a small fee.
The pendant can be filled using a tiny funnel, or tweezers. You can make a funnel out of a sheet of paper, and it will work just fine. First, use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the screw on the bottom of the pendant. Tap the ash into the chamber. With tweezers, just pinch a small amount of ash and the place it into the opening. Be sure to screw the cap back on tightly after filling, but be sure not to over-tighten. Then, the pendant can be worn next to your heart at all times. For a permanent seal, you can use a touch of metal to metal adhesive. Some people prefer they remain able to open to that ashes can be spread in meaningful places, and then refilled. Most people use a touch of superglue to make sure the ashes never spill out, especially if wearing regularly or using on a key ring.
Note: This pendant is NOT hollow. There is just a tiny little chamber under the screw. Only a tiny amount of ash is needed. If you are searching for a pendant that holds a larger amount, this is not the right pendant for you. Please check in our store. Our pendants that say "Large Vial" in the title hold more.
Stainless steel is extremely durable. It will not rust, tarnish or discolor skin. You can clean it at any time using rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. The alcohol will not damage any part of it, including the crystals. Keychains do get jostled around quite a bit, so please don't forget to seal it permanently with superglue to avoid accidental spilling of the cremains.
The urn keychain will come sealed in a tiny plastic zip-loc bag, with a little card with information about RescueArtWorks! A portion of the proceeds goes directly towards helping homeless animals find their way to new loving homes, so it's a great way to honor your own pet's life.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFO: Buyers will receive one key ring urn sealed in a small plastic zip-loc bag, which will be mailed in a small padded mailing envelope. Items are mailed through the United States Postal Service, using first-class shipping with tracking, and *normally* arrive within 2-9 days after purchase within the US, but this is NOT a guarantee!! Sometimes the postal service simply does not move as quickly as you or we would hope, and we just don't have any control over it once the post office receives it, so please, if you need it by a certain deadline, select the (USA ONLY) Priority or Priority Express shipping upgrades when making payment. We are more than happy to arrange for this! If your item takes longer than expected to arrive, please contact us directly.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CAN TAKE AS LONG AS 6-12 WEEKS. It's usually 2-3 weeks to Canada and 3-4 weeks overseas, but we can't guarantee it, nor do we have any control over it.
