ANTIQUE CIVIL WAR ERA TOLEWARE HAND-SOLDERED JAPANNED TIN COFFEE CANNISTER with GOLD LETTERING & LID

This is an antique cannister with lid that dates to the Civil War era probably. Japanned painted hand-soldered coffee cannister has gold detail also around the edges and reads, "Coffee" on one side. Cannister has some wear present and is somewhat hard to read the Coffee on the side. Nice display piece though. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures almost 7.5" tall by 4 and 1/8" in diameter at the base.
