Vintage Mid-Century Two Tone Opaline Base & Clear Top ~ Fixture, Globe & Mount.

Lovely MCM 1950s light that would work well in a bathroom, hallway, laundry or even a pantry. The fixture features an antique shade  globe of clear and opaline glass with beautiful circular tiered design on the bottom. It would look stunning with on oversize ornate bulb. The chrome fixture has some pitting and wear as shown in the pictures. It has a single porcelain socket still intact. The ceiling mount does have some damage. It is original to the piece so im keeping them together. The ceiling mount measures 5½" in diameter x 4½" tall. The Fixture measures 6-7/16" in diameter x 5" tall. The globe alone measures 10" tall x 10" across with a 5⅞" fitter. When the globe and fixture are together it measures 16" tall. Total length with ceiling mount, chain, and globe measures 56" but could be made longer or shorter depending on your ceiling height. This light hung in the same unused building for the last 70 years. It had 70 years of dirt and grime. It has has numerous scrubbings and vinegar soaks. It could still use some cleaning. Evertime I thought it was good i would see another spot.
