The New Zealand Mint's popular Star Wars series continues with this fifth release honoring the Imperial Snowtrooper.

  • This gorgeously colorized 2021 Star Wars Faces of the Empire Snowtrooper coin is minted from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver.
  • The proof coin is distinctively shaped as the iconic character, measuring 30.4 x 36 mm.
  • Only 10,000 of the exciting, officially licensed Star Wars collectible will be struck.
  • NGC "First Releases" designation guaranteeing a very limited slab population. Add to that the error label ad this is a very rare item indeed. 

Obverse: The obverse features the fourth definitive coinage portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, an effigy sculpted in 1998 by renowned British artist Ian Rank-Broadley. Accompanying inscriptions include "ELIZABETH II NIUE" and "2021 2 DOLLARS." Near the coin's bottom edge the additional inscription "1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER" and the Lucasfilm Ltd. Trademark appear.

Reverse: Each coin follows the shape of the Imperial Snowtrooper’s headgear. This minimalist coin is colored to replicate the helmet and sports additional relief to add interest to the design.
