The design of this TAG Heuer Carrera Muhammad Ali watch is based off one of TAG Heuer’s ‘Ring Master’ stop watches first launched in 1957. The dial is beautifully detailed with a white inner ring that tracks 15 rounds of three minutes and black intervals to display the recovery periods between rounds. Despite modern boxing now being completed in 12 rounds, TAG Heuer have decided to keep these vintage elements to commemorate Mohammad Ali’s early years of boxing. Measuring to 43mm in size and crafted from polished stainless steel, the case of this TAG Heuer watch is further detailed with a sapphire crystal case back engraved with a special Muhammad Ali engraving. On the black opalin dial, Muhammad Ali’s signature is also found at 6 o clock alongside sleek hour, minute and seconds hands and a date window at 3 o'clock. Powering each of these functions is the impressive TAG Heuer Calibre 5 automatic movement, a knock-out calibre which provides a 38-hour power reserve and unbeatable accuracy. To match the sporty dial and complete the vintage inspired design, a black perforated leather strap is added alongside a classic stainless steel folding buckle.
