Transmission immersion probes can be attached to the transmission immersion probe fiber. The probe tip has an opening that allows the liquid sample to flow freely into the measurement area during measurement.

Each tip has a diffuse mirror at the end that reflects light emerging from the probe's fiber bundle.

A protective film on the mirror surface allows it to be immersed in liquids. Probes can be cleaned using acetone and an ultrasonic cleaner for reuse. Optical path lengths are available in 5 mm and 10 mm. The longer the length, the longer the light in the probe tip interacts with the sample medium;

Therefore, using a longer probe tip helps improve the signal-to-noise ratio for low absorbance samples.

Conversely, shorter probe tips are better suited for handling high absorbance samples. In general, the longer the length, the greater the transmission loss of the probe. Therefore, selecting the appropriate light source and probe length according to the experiment is critical for optimizing the measurement effect.
