SCUTELLARIA BAICALENSIS “ORIENTAL BLUE”, BAICAL SKULLCAP

The species was first described by pharmacist, explorer and botanist Johann Gotlieb Georgi in 1775 It bears sprays of sizable, tubular, clear blue helmet-shaped flowers (3 cm long), which are produced in summer in dense racemes to 15 cm long.
