Vintage gold metal filigree Hollywood Regency style vanity trash holder with plastic insert/liner. Circa 1960's. Trash container is footed and features an ormolu metal links design with gold metal cording along the top. Liner is sturdy pale pink plastic with a shiny exterior of geometric and floral designs. Interior has a matte finish. Liner is free standing and fits inside of the the trash receptacle. Metal exterior piece stands 10.5" in height and 9" in diameter. Interior liner is 9" in height and 8" in diameter.
The vanity container's gold finish is mostly bright with some wear/darkening around the rim and on the feet. Vanity liner has some scuffs and scratches on the interior and some wear along the rim. Both pieces are heavy and sturdy and represent the ultimate in elegant vanity and bathroom accessories of their day.
