How do I set up my Fitbit device?
 
Before you begin using your Fitbit device, you must connect it to your Fitbit account with a phone, tablet, or computer. Connecting your device allows it to transfer (or sync) data back and forth with Fitbit. Your data syncs to your Fitbit dashboard, which is where you can see your stats, analyze historical trends, set goals, log food and water, connect with friends, and more.
 
How do I restart my Fitbit device?
 
If your Fitbit device has one of the following problems, it may be fixed by a restart:
Not syncing
Not responding to button presses, taps, or swipes
Charged but doesn't turn on
Not tracking your steps or other stats
Restarting your device turns it off and on without deleting any activity data. If your device saves notifications, a restart deletes them.
Open the battery door using the battery door tool and remove the battery.
Wait 10 seconds.
Place the battery back into the tracker with the " " side facing up, and close the door.
Your Zip will now be reset. You will see your tracker's version number, followed by a series of Fitbit Smilies. When you tap your tracker, you should be able to navigate through the screens as you normally would.
 
HOW DO I SYNC MY TRACKER OR WATCH?
If your device is paired to the Fitbit app, it syncs every time you open the app. If you turn on All-Day sync it also syncs periodically throughout the day. If you sync your device with a computer and Fitbit Connect, it syncs automatically every 30 to 60 minutes when the Fitbit device and computer are nearby, and the dongle is plugged in, if applicable.
