Nickel Plated 7 Strand Super Copper fishing line from Blood Run Tackle Co. has been extensively field tested in order to ensure the best fishability and fish catching characteristics. When we developed our Super Copper fishing line, we tested numerous different types, twists, weights, diameters to develop what we believe is the best copper trolling wire with two things in mind.

First…does it catch fish? Without a doubt super copper catches fish. No other fishing line or tactic, aside from wire diver fishing, has revolutionized the way we troll for both fresh and saltwater species more than copper. Copper can react to environmentally or electronically produced electrical current, as it is considered a highly conductive metal. This naturally made electrical current may play a factor in copper fishing line’s success, particularly in saltwater applications.

Second….is it user friendly? After designing and testing a variety of copper trolling wire we came to the conclusion that usability can be an issue with certain types or styles of copper fishing line. Copper fishing line with too many or too tight of twist is not friendly from a fishability perspective. Two issues arise….excessive kinking, and excessive backspooling when paying out the copper line. Blood Run Super Copper is the answer to getting the most out of your copper fishing setups as it was designed from the ground up to be the most user friendly copper fishing line on the market today.
