this is a stunning depression era hand made flour sack petticoat skirt with crocheted lace detail 

I would describe the color as ivory or ecru. the crocheted lace is a little darker.

this was sewn with a machine and the flour sacks came from Peerless Flour Mill in Norton Kansas

no button the closure is a simple safety pin

It has some small holes about 4 of them around the top of the skirt. I couldn't get a good pic of them. the seams are secure and there are no stains.
