Description: - A Victorian 9ct mellow rose gold graduating curb link albert watch chain, and 1851 Liberty Head Gold Dollar.

  • Assay: - .375 (9 carat). 
  • Period: - Late 19th century.
  • Date: - 1894.
  • Engraving: - N/A.
  • Measurement: - The watch chain and coin measures approximately 14 & 3/8 inches (36.5cm) from end to end. The chain (not including coin) measures 13 7/8 inches (35.3cm) end to end. The links measure 6.8mm at their widest point.
  • Weight: -  33.4 grams (combined).

Condition: - The 9ct albert chain is in good condition. The chain is stamped '9', '.375' to each of the curb links, '9.375' on the T-bar, and the dog clip. The chain, dog clip, and the T-bar are stamped with the makers mark 'J.K'. The Birmingham assay mark, and date letter 'u' for 1894 is stamped to one of the links. The links display minor surface scratches, and wear commensurate with age. The coin is drilled to allow it to be hung from the chain. Please see photographs for confirmation of condition.
