This modification kit contains all the parts you need to install a MOSFET in place of the original 2SC 1969 bipolar transistor .Step by Step instructions are included. The 2sc 1969 final transistor installed in most GALAXY'S and many Amateur radios were discontinued and And Fakes are being Sold. The Real Ones  are hard to find and very pricey. If your final has been Blown  the conversion to a MOSFET is the Way to Go. All high powered devices are changing to MOSFETs.In most cases they produce more power and in all cases they give more modulation. On most radios  You need only some basic electronics knowledge and good soldering skills. Don't be fooled by those cheap kits. My Mosfet Conversion is Tried And True.

This kit is ONLY for radios that had a single transistor 2sc 1969 or 2sc2312 final originally installed.

Unlike "MOST " tuneups, NO CLIPPING LIMITERS OF ANY KIND IS NEEDED! All limiters remain intact, Therefore your radio will still have the full ALC circuitry untouched and thus eliminating any distortion or SSB warble which is common for "TUNED " and or " PEAKED " radios.
