ESTATE ITEM

AS PICTURED

RARE COLLECTIBLE

From the 1960s Classic British Thunderbirds TV Series

"VIRGIL TRACY"

12" Action Figure as Pictured! Virgil was named by his parents after Mercury 7 astronaut Virgil "Gus" Grissom .Comes with original box, but no accessories. Item needs fresh batteries.

He is an accomplished graduate of the Denver School of Advanced Technology. This gave him the experience and knowledge to become the pilot of Thunderbird 2 and to operate its various complex auxiliary rescue vehicles (such as the Mole and the Monobrake) he is responsible for transporting to the danger zone.

Virgil has taken part in nearly all of International Rescue's rescue operations, with only a couple of exceptions. The most notable case took place in Terror in New York City, when Thunderbird 2 was attacked while returning to Tracy Island, rendering him incapable of joining the rescue attempt to save two men trapped beneath the ruins of the Empire State Building. And, as Virgil rarely co-pilots Thunderbird 3, he was not involved in the space rescue during The Impostors.

This is from a large estate collection with more items coming over the next year. Items are fairly priced already, but will entertain offers that meet the criteria set in place. Please keep in mind the consignment proceeds go to the widow.

Domestic Shipping: Please note that USPS continues to raise their freight/shipping costs (UPS and FedEx too!) and base their pricing on DIMS (Dim weight is the amount of space a package occupies in relation to its actual weight. For each shipment, you are charged based on the dimensional weight or actual weight of the package—whichever is greater.). They also base it on Zones, or the distance away from the shipper that you are.

What Are USPS Zones?

USPS zones are frequently misunderstood as being defined by some geographical area. USPS zones are actually defined by the distance a package must travel from its point of origin. Therefore, USPS zones will be specific to the eBay business and its distance from you the buyer. Zones range from Zone 1 (a destination within 50 miles) to Zone 9 (a destination far away from the eBay business). As we ship to locations farther away from our business, in higher USPS zones, shipping costs will increase.

For quick reference, here are the criteria for USPS zones:

Local: Destinations within the same Post Office

Zone 1: Destinations within 50 miles (outside of the Post Office)

Zone 2: Destinations within 51-150 mile radius

Zone 3: Destinations within 151-300 mile radius

Zone 4: Destinations within 301-600 mile radius

Zone 5: Destinations within 601-1000 mile radius

Zone 6: Destinations within 1001-1400 mile radius

Zone 7: Destinations within 1401-1800 mile radius

Zone 8: Destinations within 1801 mile radius or farther

Zone 9: Destinations within freely associated states

International Shipping: Please note that we leverage eBay's global shipping program. eBay coordinates all international shipping cost, we simply ship your item to the eBay freight forwarder in Illinois then they take care of the rest (freight, fees, export, import, etc.)
