Vintage 1910's Buffalo Co Copper Porcelain Warming Server Dish Tray Platter Handle 

This is an antique copper warming buffet server tray with porcelain or ceramic platter and wood grip handles. The porcelain platter has a bird and flowers in the center. This unusual tray has a reservoir underneath that holds hot water to keep the porcelain surface warm. At the top of the tray is a brass cap for adding water. Tray is engraved  "Buffalo Mfg Co, Buffalo NY" that it was founded in the early 1900's and operated until the early 1920's.  The measures are approx. 17" long across with the handles x 11.5" deep x 2.75" tall, tray is about 13.25" x 10.25" deep, and weights approx. 3.8 lbs in my scale. This platter is in vintage condition, porcelain or ceramic looks free of damage, some crazing inside the glazed normal in vintage item, but no chips or cracks. The copper base has a few dings and small dents but overall it looks quite nice for its age, underside has scratches from usage,  The side handles are sturdy with no loose or compromised joints, wood need to be polished, one of them lost the black color. Also brass cap cover is missing possibly from improper stored. It has been long years in storage and may be some surface dusty.
