This George Reach fielders glove appears to date to either the 1930's or 1940's.  It is an adult size split finger softball model in great condition! Very soft leather inside and out. Inner liner fully intact and also soft and flexible.   Nice copper or brass colored wrist button . Made by the George A. Reach Company of Philadelphia, which is the son I believe of A. J. Reach. Great looking original orange color and white leather raised pads, which is typical of softball models of the 1930's.  Also included is the former owners face mask which is also in super condition. No maker name but shows virtually no use and has been very well cared for.  Head gear fully intact and functioning. Also an adult size. Both items bear the former owners name: Crandall Melvin Jr.  Mr. Melvin was born in the early 1920's and was very prominent  attorney and public official in both the Syracuse and Liverpool N. Y. areas.  SUPER period display pieces! All inquiries welcome.
