TOMIX 9185 J.N.R. Electric Locomotive Type EF30 (third edition/shield beam) 

It is an AC/DC electric locomotive that can directly connect the DC-electrified section of Kanmon Tunnel and the AC-electrified section of Moji Station, and the locomotive is can pull a 1,200t freight train on a gradient of 22‰ by double heading operation in the Kanmon Tunnel.

Years of manufacture are 1960-1968. Also, in order to prevent rust (salt damage) due to seawater in the Kanmon Tunnel, stainless steel plates are used for the outer panels of the car body and the equipment boxes on the roof. This type is the world's first mass-produced AC/DC electric locomotive.
