The GODOX ML30 is an ultra-compact 40W 5600K daylight-balanced COB LED studio light, that uses the latest High-Intensity Integrated LED technology, producing 40 watts of raw power, whilst being small enough to fit into the palm of your hands. The ML30 is perfect for people who require extra pops of light but don’t have a lot of space to work with. suitable for professional broadcast use, cinematography, video interviews and YouTubing. It is also suitable for stills photography, including portraits and products etc.
The ML30 is like a little cup of sunshine, that you can carry with you anywhere. It’s so small that it can easily fit in the palm of your hands. It comes with a grip handle and can be powered by a pair of Sony NP-F series (L-Series) or compatible, batteries, the ML30 is the perfect light for run-and-gun shooting.
The ML30 uses a 5600K daylight-balanced 40W COB (Chip on Board) LED chip, which has a light output of 1,300 LUX at 1m Bare-bulb. This light is equivalent to the brightness of a traditional 400W tungsten light.
The ML30 has a super-high CRI (Colour-Rendering Index) rating of ≥96 and a TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index) of ≥97 for accurate colour reproduction. This means that the ML30 is suitable for Professional Broadcast use as well as for Film-Making and Commercial Cinematography.
The integrated COB LED chip is also Flicker-Free, meaning you can shoot at virtually any framerate, or any shutter angle without fear of introducing flicker into your footage.
The ML30 features a user, with an LCD screen, and an intuitive control dial interface. The Controller box lets you control the light's brightness steplessly, between 100% and 0% brightness.
The ML30 can be remotely controlled via the Godox Light Smartphone App. This enables you to remotely control the brightness of the light.
It also features a new Built-In Super-Quiet Electronic Fan, making it ideal for use in a situation where minimal background noise is critical, such as video interviews etc.
The ML30 features 8x built-in lighting effect presets, which enable you to simulate a selection of lighting scenarios, such as lightning storms, a TV, broken bulb, paparazzi etc. adding more creative possibilities to your cinematography.
The ML30 is compatible with all GODOX-Mount modifiers straight out of the box, allowing it to be used with GODOX’s range of super-compact modifiers. It can also be coupled with the Round-Head Smart Bracket, which gives you access to the wide range of Bowens S-Type modifiers straight out of the box, which gives you the option to shape and modify the light to suit your needs. It can be used with a plethora of different modifiers, including, Softboxes, Beauty Dishes, Fresnel lenses etc.

NOTE: Please be aware when using the high-powered LED COB chips although these will produce little heat, you will need to ensure sufficient airflow when using a modifier to avoid causing damage to the light or modifier.
