You Buy an Extremely Fine,Victorian Style,Large, Oval,Silver Plated,Repousse Casket Jewelry or Trinket Box.

This large jewelery box has a typical Victorian shape and is lined with red velvet on both the lid and the base. The outside of the box has beautiful Victorian floral patterns and the lid has a gilt cartouche which is not engraved. The hinge is in excellent condition, as is the velvet lining.In my opinion, it was produced circa 1930-1940 in England. There are slight signs of wear typical of a vintage item that is probably 100 years old. See dimensions and the condition from the photos, they are an integral part of the description.
