Ancient Iron and Leather belt Money pouch Medieval.

Believed to be from 1350  to 1500 ce.

Found in the 1960's by two US students sleeping in an ancient lean to/ barn.

They found a small  chest, buried about 3 feet down as they dug for the floor. In  the chest was the pouch

remnants of a belt and a knife. The NYC museum of natural history was given the Belt, Chest, and knife.

Fred one of the two, worked thru my leather shop in Sherman Oaks Ca. The best craftsman I have seen

reproducing medieval sheaths, pouches, helmets, shields, belts.
