Made exclusively for Department 56 and from the Christmas in the City Series, this is item 58947, "Parkview Hospital". From a New Hampshire estate, this is a used item in excellent condition that has been carefully stored in the original packaging. With amazing detail, this will add to any layout. Released in 1999, it was retired in 2000 and is dated 1999 on the base. Lighted, it measures approximately 8.5 inches tall by 6.25 by 5 inches at the base. There is some shelf wear to the sleeve as shown. During the holiday season, visiting hours are always extended at the maternity ward at "Parkview Hospital". An emergency drive-up is available for expectant mothers and rooftop benches provide a retreat for anxious fathers.
