The coins have the shape of a circle, with a protruding edging around the circumference on the obverse and reverse sides. The side surface of the coins is corrugated.

Obverse

Reverse
in the center is a relief image of a bird flying over snow-covered fields (the bird is gilded on the silver coin), which symbolizes the meeting of winter and summer.
