 More Details:

·        Please be aware that you are bidding on a vintage item.  As such, it will likely have blemishes because of use over the decades.  Blemishes can include imperfections in the crystal, the dial, the case, the lugs, the crown, the strap, or the movement.  Like with a classic car, these blemishes give the watch character which you can now enjoy as the new owner.  They represent the life experiences of the watch.  In many cases the strap will be new and this will be indicated in this listing.

·        Vintage watches will never be as accurate as your cell phone or a modern watch.  If you’re looking for extreme accuracy, please do not buy a vintage watch.

·        Vintage watches are frequently not waterproof.  This is not the kind of watch you will want to wear to the gym.

·        Vintage watches frequently do not have “shock protection” built into their movements.  So they can be damaged if you drop them, especially onto a hard surface like tile or wood flooring.

·        Vintage watches will eventually require maintenance when the internal oils get old and no longer provide effective lubrication.  Your watch should run for many years before maintenance is needed, but all vintage watches will eventually require maintenance in order to continue keeping time.

Warranty:

·        Your watch has been cleaned, serviced, and its time-keeping has been confirmed prior to your purchase.

·        Mechanical watches will never be as accurate as your cell phone.  Gaining or losing a few minutes a day is not uncommon.

·        If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, please feel free to return your watch within two weeks, or contact us to resolve your concerns.  Upon returning the watch, you will receive your money back, less our postage expenses.

·         If you encounter any problems within the first 6 months of purchase, please contact us and we will repair your watch free of charge.  Exclusions include damage due to moisture, dropping the watch, or other user-caused damage.

For foreign buyers:

·        It is common for countries to charge customs, VAT, or import taxes.  These are your responsibility and are not included in the purchase price here.  Please check these costs before bidding.

·        Any customs docs that we fill out will include the correct purchase price.  We declare all items for the winning bid amount.

·        International shipping can be slow or delayed.  Unfortunately, this is not under our control.
