This lovely vintage serving platter 12” is in great preowned condition. Perfect for use as a chip and dip serving tray or veggies and dip serving platter. We believe it’s from the 1960s. Unsure of the material; possibly fiberglass. There may be some minor signs of wear consistent with age but we didn’t notice any issues. Please refer to photos, zoom in, and request additional photos if needed.

Measures approximately 12” wide.

🛍 GENERAL ITEM INFO

We will state if an item is brand new or new/unused without packaging, but most of our items for sale (especially vintage) are used, pre-loved treasures that were purchased from estate sales, auctions, and consignors. Because these items are pre-owned, they are sold as is. We carefully wipe down all items but leave the fine cleaning to you. Though for crystal and other glassware, we typically fully clean (hand-wash using ammonia, drop of mild detergent, and water; dry with a lint-free microfiber cloth). We do not service or test any items for functionality unless otherwise stated. Items that are not intended for collectible use should be inspected and/or serviced by a professional prior to use. There may be imperfections or inconsistencies from age or production. We carefully examine and detail each item and try to take photos as clear as possible, pointing out any flaws we notice, showing them in our photos.

We are not appraisers or experts on anything we sell, but we do spend time researching information to identify items and provide the most honest, accurate details we can. However, we cannot guarantee accuracy and may make an honest mistake such as incorrectly identifying the brand, style name, time period, etc. Our idea of excellent, good, fair, etc. may differ from yours. You are purchasing or bidding with these things in mind. So, please rely on all photos as the primary description; perform your own research based on our photos; and feel free to ask questions or request additional photos if you’d like further clarification.

The items in our photos are the exact items you will be receiving unless we state that we have multiples of the same item. We will note if some have original stickers, paperwork, or boxes, and others don’t. If having or not having these accompanying materials are important to you, please send us a message before you submit your order.

💵 PRICING

We determine fair pricing primarily based on the amount we paid for the inventory (since we typically buy online, we pay more), packing expenses, and selling fees. We also factor brand/designer, item type, age, condition, rarity, current market supply & demand, retail prices, sold prices on multiple auction and marketplace sites, and list prices on professional auctioneer sites. In some cases, we may also get the item appraised.

We also have to factor in the seller fees on each platform. Our item prices (and shipping) VASTLY DIFFER on each platform based on their fees, which range from 5% of the total price on one social media marketplace site, up to 20% on another site (eBay charges 12.9% of the total sale price including tax/shipping, in addition to advertisement fees [2-10%] of total sale], auction fees; and, unlike other sites that include insurance, eBay sellers are responsible for purchasing insurance, which is added to the shipping costs).

This is why you may have noticed that our prices across platforms vary (e.g., an item listed in one place could be $110 + $13.50 shipping; here it could be $150 + $25 shipping; and in another place it could be $175 + $7.95 shipping).

Unlike many, we don’t pad our shipping fees. Instead, we charge you at cost for shipping (including the shipping label and fees such as insurance).

We buy an abundance of packing supplies and pack exceptionally well — on average, spending 1 to 2 HOURS packing a single fragile item! Our listing, communication, and packing time is minimally built into the item price, NOT the shipping price.


💳 PAYMENT

We accept payment via eBay. You may use your PayPal account, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, or any other options eBay provides during checkout. You may be able to save on shipping costs when purchasing multiple items from our shop (please contact us BEFORE checking out so we can confirm and create a combined order just for you).

Payment is due within 48 hours of placing your order or winning an auction. If payment has not been received within 2 days, an automated late-payer report will be submitted to eBay; and we reserve the right to cancel the transaction at any point leading up to the 48 hour mark. If you expect a delay in submitting payment, please contact us with notice so we can pause the reporting process and hold off on the order cancellation.

At this time, we can only ship within the continental United States (we’re sorry to the international buyers). All packages are shipped with FULL insurance via USPS (though, we may also use UPS, FedEx, or DHL on occasion), unless otherwise noted towards the top of this description. For orders with a selling price exceeding approximately $200 - $250, we may require a signature confirmation add-on (if so, this will be stated towards the top of this page and the fee will be incorporated in the price). We can also add signature confirmation to almost any order for an added fee; please let us know if you’d like this add-on prior to placing your order so we can adjust the price.

Orders are shipped within 3 business days after receiving your payment (except holidays). If you need for us to ship ASAP, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. eBay will notify you once your package has shipped (with the tracking number) and again, once delivered. We may check in after delivery to make sure you are satisfied.

If you are ordering a large item or combined order, and have a P.O. BOX listed as your delivery address, please make sure larger packages can be delivered. In most cases, this isn’t a problem but to be safe, we recommend entering a physical shipping address at the time of checkout.

However, as a precaution, we take photos and sometimes videos of the item prior to packing and during packing, in case a claim needs to be submitted. We suggest you also take photos of the sealed package BEFORE OPENING, and the contents inside the package BEFORE UNWRAPPING/REMOVING. In the unlikely event that an item was damaged during shipping, our combined sets of photos may increase the chance of your insurance claim moving along swiftly and favorably.

If an item arrives damaged, you will need to keep all original shipping materials. You can file a claim at USPS.com. You may be required to take the damaged item, shipping box, packing material, printed eBay receipt, and printed PayPal receipt, to your local Post Office. We are happy to help walk you through the process and remain in contact with you throughout the process. We can also email you any photos, paperwork, or receipts we have. But your insured purchase will be the responsibility of the insurance carrier and you. In the unlikely event that your claim is denied by USPS, we will not be able to refund any fees for an item damaged or lost during shipping. That said, we pack our items extremely well (using an abundance of packing supplies) and proudly have never had an item damaged during shipping from the ALMOST 150 packages we’ve shipped across multiple platforms!
