The latest model is equipped with the Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece, a long-time favorite of guitar players, and comes in a cool Jet Black color scheme.
The Bigsby Vibrato Tailpiece
The Bigsby vibrato tailpiece was first introduced in the 1940s and has reigned supreme ever since as the "standard arm" on guitars from various manufacturers.
The greatest merit of the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece is its rugged appearance, yet it has a look that attracts the eye at first glance.
The sound is also brighter than before the tailpiece was installed, with a stronger, more aggressive sound.
Soap bar type pickups for various genres of music
Cool soap-bar type single coil pickups. It has a shimmering high frequency range and a wide range of sound characteristics.
They can be used for various genres of music such as rock, fusion, jazz, etc.
Each pickup has a volume control, so six different combinations are possible: neck and bridge, middle and neck, middle and bridge, middle, neck, and bridge. You can enjoy various changes by mixing the sound of each pickup.
Mixing the pickups at the same level gives a halftone-like sound, while mixing the middle pickups a little less gives the neck or bridge a thicker, humbucking-like sound.
Improved playability
The neck joint uses a set neck system that makes it easy to play at the high frets. A fixed tune-o-matic neck joint provides an easy-to-play neck angle.
The smooth fingerboard makes it very easy to play and greatly improves playability.
Semi-hollow construction suppresses feedback even at high volume.
Semi-hollow body construction with a partial center block for less feedback and sustain even at high volumes.
Grover open gear pegs are used.
To facilitate tuning, Grover tuning machines are used, which are lightweight and have an open-gear construction that easily transmits string vibrations.
This allows for just the right tuning even after playing for a long period of time.
