RARE!!! Fine Yixing Zisha Clay Pottery Tea Jar With Lid Brass Ring

I did not wash the jar, as these types of pottery require special care. It's dusty from being stored. Please do your own research into the care of these fine rare pottery items, I listed below some information I found on the internet about these types of pottery.

Unglazed Yixing clay containers are perfect for storing pu-ehr and oolong tea. They are made of natural clay which is found only in the Yixing region of China. The color comes from the natural color of the clay. The pots allow the tea to breathe and develop a great aroma and flavor. They are the optimal way to store loose tea, toucha, or tea bricks and tea cakes which have been loosened prior to drinking.

To initially wash the tea containers and teapots, soak in tea water 1-3 days and rinse in warm or hot water. Do not use soap.
